As we look ahead to 2025, there’s been a lot to celebrate in 2024. Here are some of our highlights…
Awards and recognition
We were thrilled that our Sycamore Avenue project won Best Multi-Residential Project at the Guernsey Property and Construction Awards.
The award recognises exceptional construction projects and includes design, teamwork, safety, and excellence in project delivery.
Thanks to our dedicated team and local partners who made the project a reality, and to the judges for recognising our commitment to design in Guernsey.
Our very own Dan Tibbs was also shortlisted for the Aspiration Award for Emerging Talent in Architectural Technology by the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT). An amazing achievement for Dan, and well deserved.
Relocate to Guernsey Show
James and Miles attended the Relocate to Guernsey Show in London, and were on hand to answer questions and offer advice to people thinking of moving to our beautiful island and buying a property or undertaking a renovation or extension project.
Carbon Literate certified
James and Dan were delighted to be confirmed as Certified Carbon Literate, having both completed the Carbon Literacy Project qualification with UN1TY. The qualification aims to raise awareness and understanding of climate change and sustainability issues across all industries.
Hana Fox joined the team
We welcomed Hana Fox, a talented trainee Architectural Technician, to our growing team.
Since joining us earlier this year, Hana has brought a fresh perspective, exceptional skills, and willingness to tackle anything thrown at her, which perfectly complements our approach to creating inspiring, functional spaces.
Completed projects
We completed a number of exciting projects this year. We also saw an increase in Planning & Building Control approvals gained compared to recent years.
CIAT representation
We’re proud of our continued association with CIAT. James continued his role as a CIAT representative on the Guernsey Construction Forum, while James, Miles and Dan took on a joint role as CIAT Regional Councillors.
Personal achievements
Martin took part in his first-ever marathon, the 38th edition of the Marathon Du Medoc. A marathon with a difference, the 42km event saw him run through the vineyards of Bordeaux and take part in 23 different wine tasting stops.
There was a festival vibe with multiple bands scattered through the course and ‘aid stations’ supplying cheese, oysters and steak. That’s our kind of marathon – no wonder he’s looking forward to going back next year!
We also applaud Monique, who climbed to Mount Everest’s base camp during her travels across Asia.
Community project at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital
We are proud to be involved in designing the new playroom on the Frossard Ward at the
Princess Elizabeth Hospital.
This ongoing project involves re-designing the interior spaces of the two rooms that adjoin the Frossard Ward, which is challenging as these rooms have to cater to a wide variety of ages and needs.
Our thoughtful design, themed around nature and underwater, aims to transform the children’s ward experience, creating a playful yet therapeutic environment that supports emotional well-being and recovery, offering children and their families a space to feel comforted, inspired and engaged during their time at the hospital.
Sponsorships
We established sponsorships with a number of local clubs and events including JGA Touch Rugby Team, Guernsey Bowls, St Martin’s AC, Locate Guernsey, Guernsey Referees, Alzheimer’s Golf Day, and the Swimarathon.
Be part of our 2025 success and work with us to realise your project.
