A tired Guernsey cottage on Bunker Hill, Vale, received a modern twist which has transformed the living environment for a young family.
Whilst upgrading other areas of the cottage, our clients appointed us to improve the rear of the property significantly. Demolition of a single garage, the addition of a small flat roof extension and re-use of an existing bedroom allowed us to design a substantial extension through the rear elevation. A timber frame structure was erected to include specifically designed openings that now flood the new family room with natural light. A hugely improved living environment.
