Our client, Sylvans Sports Club gave us a brief requiring several additions to help enhance the club and in turn increasing the community engagement while ensuring functionality and accessibility.
The proposal included installing a new club crest on the existing club house, improving the club’s identity that resonates with players, supporters and the local community.
The training area was also improved with the addition of new netting, ensuring a safer and more efficient space for practice sessions. To support sustainable transportation, 16 new bike stands were installed, encouraging cycling to and from the ground and promoting environmentally friendly habits for players and visitors alike.
Permissions were also gained for a new Petanque pitch outside of the clubhouse, which only added to the inclusivity and community feel. A new defibrillator and water fountain were also added as part of the proposals, enhancing the safety and promoting healthier practices across the club.
With these upgrades now in place, the sports club has cemented its role as a thriving community hub, offering enhanced facilities that cater to the needs of players, supporters and visitors, while championing sustainability, safety and inclusivity.
