Chescot Development Site

New Builds, Multi-residential

Our client approached us wanting to demolish an existing property, and build a new multi-residential development. All permissions were granted in September 2024, with construction due to start in 2025.

The multi-residential development consists of eight dwellings, designed to balance modern aesthetics with practical, sustainable living. Comprising four two-story, two-bed properties and four 2.5-story, three-bed homes, each residence had been carefully planned to provide comfortable, energy-efficient living within a well-connected setting.

The development adopts a contemporary style, with a mix of white render, dark reclaimed brickwork and black composite cladding, creating a bold yet harmonious streetscape. Clean lines, well-proportioned fenestration and natural slate roofs ensure the properties feel both modern and timeless. Covered entrances provide a welcoming approach, while careful integration of materials enhances the overall aesthetic.

Each property benefits from a private rear garden, offering outdoor space for relaxation. To support a sense of community and convenience, the development includes a central parking area, with a mix of planted areas to promote biodiversity. Each property will also feature electric vehicle charging points, and private bicycle storage, promoting sustainable transport choices. The carefully considered landscaping introduces green elements that soften the architecture and create a welcoming atmosphere.

Designed with modern living in mind, these homes will incorporate high-performance insulation, efficient heating systems, and contemporary interiors. Large windows and sensitively positioned skylights ensure plenty of natural light, while south-facing solar panels on each property support renewable energy use, helping to reduce the environmental impact and energy costs.

We look forward to seeing these completed within the next 18 months.
