This open plan extension at Zabdiel started in April and is progressing steadily on-site with the foundations and beam & block floor construction all complete. With the blockwork walls now being formed, the contractor is set to install the steelwork and construct the new flat roof.
As the build progresses, the contractor will break through the existing rear wall of the house to allow a replacement kitchen to flow through to the new dining area. Large 6-leaved bi-fold doors with a corner system will open out onto a timber deck stepping down to the current lawned garden. The new fenestrations will introduce a huge amount of natural light and bring even more energy into this family’s energetic lives. This extension will hugely improve the property and the way this young family live, so we are excited to seeing the finished space.
