As regular ‘Herm-goers’, we were delighted to have been appointed by the island’s owners to create conceptual ideas for the creation of a suitable guest suite extension to Lady Perry Cottage.
Set high on Herm’s landscape with stunning views of Guernsey, the cottage now boasts a traditional extension matching the intrinsic character of the existing building.
We included a beautiful oak spiral staircase off the living space, which gives both warmth and elegance to the room. This accesses the spacious master bedroom suite, which is set in the eaves of the building. The project combines elegance and simplicity to capture the essence of this charming building and at the same time creating a modern beautiful living space.
