Once your happy with the designs, we move forward to solidify the concept. We ensure that the design remains both aesthetically pleasing and functional while meeting planning and building control standards, resulting in a frozen design ready for the planning stage.

We finalise all drawings and supporting documentation, to make sure we gain planning permission first time. We’ll guide you through the intricacies of the planning process, fees, and timelines unique to your project proposals. Once planning is approved, we discuss any conditions and transition to the technical phase.

We prepare a set of plans to comply with the Guernsey Technical Standards, accompanied by a performance specification. All necessary information is compiled and submitted to building control on your behalf. We’ll guide you on fees and likely timings relative to your proposals. On receipt of your building licence, we will explain any conditions with you and seek the necessary specialist advice to inform the next stage.

We produce additional details, finishing schedules, gain structural information,  mechanical and electrical designs, ensuring a comprehensive package for the tender process.

Health and safety risk assessments are finalised, and all contract documents are meticulously prepared before work commences on-site.
