Miles is a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) and our Director.

Alongside James and Dan, Miles operates as Channel Islands Regional Councillor for The Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists CIAT [Link] CIAT | Homepage

Having entered the world of architecture in 2008, as an apprentice architectural technician, Miles is the epitome of ‘home grown talent’ having learned his trade on island to become a professional who aspires for a collaborative and communicative construction industry to allow clients to realise their dream homes.

With a preference for renovations and extensions, Miles has a keen eye for detail and bringing all of the right players to the table to enable the best possible outcome.

Within his day to day, Miles is responsible for overseeing production by the JGA Team to ensure that work leaving the office, reflects that of a Chartered Architectural Technologist.

As his first JGA project, Miles has a fondness for the design and build of project Onze Onze, being one that saw technical design beyond the ‘norm’ with detailing concerning Sub-terranean walls, curved glazing and the use of vacuum insulation.

As an Architectural Technologist, Miles can’t help but look at the detail of buildings.

The most detailed building Miles has been in, was recently, in Liverpool.

‘The Spine’ is full of detail that promotes wellness of the occupier and the local environment.

Outside of work, Miles enjoys spending time with his family, making the most of the outdoors and catching up with friends. The odd home improvement work also finds its way in to his ‘to-do list’, with Miles keen to turn his hand to most DIY projects.
