His portfolio spans social and private housing, healthcare, leisure, commercial, and industrial developments — including residential dwellings, shared accommodation, sheltered housing, offices, primary care facilities, and fitness centers.
Mike has played a pivotal role in the regeneration and expansion of key urban areas, leading master planning initiatives and overseeing their implementation. Prior to relocating to Guernsey, he successfully ran a well-established private practice in Scotland’s central belt from 2005, guiding projects from concept to completion with strategic insight and hands-on leadership.
He brings exceptional communication, managerial, and financial planning skills to every engagement, regularly liaising with multidisciplinary teams, community stakeholders, and local authorities. His ability to present and advocate for design solutions at all levels makes him a trusted partner in both public and private sector developments.
Outside of his architectural work with JGA, Mike finds balance on the water — whether sailing, kite surfing, or enjoying time at the beach with friends and family.
